I was with Lance in Hawaii just after the New Year as he was completing a training camp in preparation for the first real pro race of his comeback: the Tour Down Under. This video has a lot of good footage of Lance on a big, steep climb outside of Kona. The last mile is something like a 17% grade. The motorbike even started to have trouble, but not Lance. He powered up the climb in 46:44. I did it a few days later and it took me 1:15:00.
